Bud and Me. Turtles, Grass Lake and My Michigan Neighborhood

On a recent walk in Ogemaw, County, Michigan I discovered Bud. he is a turtle. the lake side is his home as is mine.

In May and June, we in Michigan experience these ancient creatures ending up on the road. often with deadly results.
